Filipino-American singer H.E.R. wants to collaborate with Ben&Ben!
According to a report on GMA Network’s 24 Oras, the OPM band was recently able to speak with the Grammy Award-winning artist, who had previously revealed that she is a fan and avid listener of local Filipino music, and was told that she wanted to create music together someday.
“I’m so happy to be speaking with you, guys. Maybe we gotta collaborate on something. I gotta hear some music,” she reportedly told them.
The nine-piece band, known for their hit singles “Leaves,” “Maybe The Night,” and “Kathang Isip,” couldn’t help but gush over the interaction.
“She was the one who told us that we should work on something together and wow, if it happened someday, it will be a dream,” said vocalist Miguel Benjamin Guico. “Just being able to talk to her and get to know her, to connect, it’s surreal.”
We’re looking forward to the day they get to collaborate too!
