The story follows them both trying to distance themselves from one another due to their demanding and dangerous jobs while finding their way back to one another anyway under the hands of fate, overcoming all the disasters that come their way.

Descendants of the Sun also stars Rocco Nacino as Technical Sergeant Diego Ramos and Jasmine Curtis-Smith as Captain Moira Defensor.

The news of its premiere on Netflix comes after the series earned distinctions from the Seoul International Drama Awards, namely Most Popular Foreign Drama Award of the Year and the Asian Star Prize for Dingdong.

Descendants of the Sun will start streaming on November 13 on eight consecutive Fridays.
