On December 7, EXO posted a three-minute trailer titled “REVERXE” across their social media platforms. The trailer featured the “Tree of Life,” which references the group’s cinematic storyline for their 2012 debut single “MAMA.”
Aside from the trailer, the group also shared individual photos of members Suho, Lay, Chanyeol, D.O. (Doh Kyungsoo), Kai, and Sehun. Meanwhile, Baekhyun, Chen, and Xiumin (who are also members of the popular sub-unit EXO-CBX) are notably absent from the upcoming comeback.
EXO-CBX will also not be included in the group’s upcoming fan meet, which is scheduled to take place on December 14. The trio remains in a legal dispute with SM Entertainment, the label that formed the group in 2012.
While the comeback proceeds with only six members, fans are anticipating more promotional content from the K-pop boy group. The group’s last released album was in 2023 with “Exist.”
“REVERXE” is reportedly scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2026.
EXO is a popular Korean boy group best known for their viral hits, including “Growl,” “Ko Ko Bop,” “The First Snow,” and “Love Shot,” among others.
