Kapuso star Barbie Forteza kept things light and honest when asked about her current relationship status during the premiere night of Gabi ng Lagim.
In a quick chat with showbiz columnist Gorgy Rula, the actress shared that she’s “single and very happy” these days—though she chose not to dig into questions linking her to Kapamilya actor Jameson Blake.

Barbie and Jameson previously worked together in the Netflix film Kontrabida Academy, which sparked fan curiosity earlier this year. The two were also spotted at the GMA Gala, fueling even more speculation online.
But when asked about it during the premiere, Barbie gently steered the conversation away.
“Grabe naman, nako, wag na natin pagusapan,” she said.

What she did open up about was her return to her fitness routine. Barbie shared that she’s easing back into running after taking a break.
“Medyo mabagal ako ulit… pero nakaka-recover naman na ng kaunti,” she said. Alongside running, she’s also trying out swim training and planning to return to Pilates soon.
As for her love life, Barbie kept her answer simple and consistent: “I am single and very happy—always happy.”
Jameson, for his part, previously mentioned in an interview with PUSH ABS-CBN that the two became close while working together. He described Barbie as someone engaging to talk to, though neither has confirmed anything beyond friendship.
