For me, On The Job was one of the best indie films I have seen in the last couple of years.
The movie, which starred Piolo Pascual, Gerald Anderson, Joel Torre, and more, was about the dirty jobs prisoners do while serving time. Gerald and Joel played the role of a duo who were serving time while murdering people as assigned to them. Apparently, they were brought outside the prison just to kill people. Meanwhile, Piolo played the role of a cop who is as straight as an arrow. (SPOILER: Piolo and Gerald’s characters died in the film)
Now, a second On The Job movie is said to be in the works.
Before, a mini-series was planned for it to be released on a streaming site. Now, it seems they have decided to create the pilot as a full theatrical film but still continue with the mini-series afterward. The movie is set to be released in August.
