Alright, who turned on a time machine?!
It seems like we all headed back into time this year. First, we saw the return of the hit fantasy TV show Encantadia back on local television. Then the news about the new Darna movie is causing a lot of buzz around the industry.
And now, there’s another local TV classic that’s returning to the small screen.

GMA7 just announced the cast for the sequel of Mulawin, the fantasy TV show about two races of winged humanoids. I’m sure the show had us all wishing for wings 13 years ago when it first aired.
Heart Evangelista will be playing “Alwina”, a role previously played by Angel Locsin, and Dennis Trillo will be reprising his role as “Gabriel”. Carla Abellana, Lovi Poe, and Regine Velasquez-Alcasid will also be joining this star-studded cast.

Kapuso love teams, Bea Binene and Derrick Monasterio, along with Bianca Umali and Miguel Tanfelix will also be part of the fantasy sequel.
Miguel Tanfelix was also part of the show’s original cast where he also played the role of “Pagaspas” when he was just 6 years old! Where did all the time go?!

Mulawin versus Ravena is set to soar into our televisions this year. A definite airing date is set to be announced, but we’re already stoked to see those majestic Mulawins again!
