Only for the young at heart. Not the young.
After over seven months in quarantine (yes, we’ve been counting), the COVID-19 pandemic still shows no signs of easing up. However, the days of barren streets and closed establishments are long gone because yes, life goes on. With the proper equipment and safety measures, many businesses have gradually started to reopen. Enchanted Kingdom is one of them.
In a recent announcement on its website, Enchanted Kingdom announced that they would be reopening their doors on October 17, 2020. Yes, this coming Saturday! However, this joyous announcement comes with a catch. As part of the regulations imposed by the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF), only guests who are 21 to 59 years old will be allowed at the amusement park. That means that minors and seniors are not allowed just yet. The young at heart, however, get to go.
Also, Enchanted Kingdom will also be operating on a new schedule. From October 17 to December 13, the park will only be open during Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM to 6 PM. From December 14 to January 3 of next year, however, you can visit the park on Mondays to Sundays from 10 AM to 6 PM.
The same policies will still apply upon entering the park premises: temperature checks, mandatory face masks and shields, and one-meter social distancing. In addition, the park will only be operating at a 50% capacity to ensure no mass gatherings. There will be floor markers when lining up, either, and you may need to wait a while for the crew to sanitize the rides and other high touch or high traffic surfaces whilst there. That way, everyone stays safe.
