Step into a midsummer night’s dream as De La Salle University–Manila Senior High School (DLSU-M SHS) hosts its 7th annual Graduation Ball titled Illumina Somnia: Beneath the Allure of a Midsummer Reverie at Tent City, The Manila Hotel, on August 8, 2026.
Ahead of their 9th Commencement Exercises this September, the student-led DLSU-M SHS Graduation Ball Committee (GBC) organized the event for the graduates to revel in the evening and celebrate their milestone before departing from high school.
“In organizing the ball, we wanted to ensure that everyone gets to celebrate their final night as high school students with their dearest peers, relive their happiest moments in those two years of senior high, and make Illumina Somnia truly an evening worth remembering,” GBC Executive Janzze Capule said.
Illumina Somnia, meaning “illuminated dreams” in Latin, draws inspiration from Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, turning the ball into an enchanting dreamscape. The event’s title invites its guests to realize their dreams and visions for the future after graduation.
Furthermore, students are encouraged to bring a non-Lasallian guest to join the celebration.
Attendees can look forward to an evening of live performances, exciting prizes, and other memorable experiences designed to mark this milestone occasion.
Registration for Illumina Somnia: Beneath the Allure of a Midsummer Reverie is now open until June 20, 2026. Graduating students may register through the official ID 124 Registration Form, while non-Lasallian guests may register through the Plus One Registration Form.
Tickets are priced at Php 4,900 and include venue admission, food and beverages, live entertainment, event styling, photo and video coverage, a photo booth, prizes and giveaways, and event security.
