Are you ready for the live-action adaptation of the hit 2010 Disney animated film Tangled? If you are, then buckle up! Disney has finally announced the stars who will be playing the esteemed roles.

On January 8, Tangled’s official social media accounts shared the exciting news about its casting.
“Teagan Croft and Milo Manheim are Rapunzel and Flynn Rider in the live-action reimagining of Disney’s Tangled. Coming only to theaters,” it wrote.
Tangled revolved around Rapunzel, a young princess with a magical, long blonde hair who was abducted and locked away in a hidden tower in the woods. Wanting to escape the tower, she teamed up with the handsome and mischievous Flynn Ryder.
The original film, which featured the voices of Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi, grossed more than $590 million. The success of the 2010 hit spawned into a franchise, including the short film Tangled Ever After (2012), a video game and a stage musical of the same name, and the television series Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure (2017).
Meanwhile, the live-action adaptation will be directed by Michael Gracey, who is best known for The Greatest Showman.
A worldwide release date has yet to be announced.
