Dave Moffatt is Coming to Manila for a Concert!

Fans were left #shookt when The Moffatts came to Manila for their farewell tour. While it was a night to remember, one thing was noticeable: fourth Moffatt member Dave wasn’t present. But that will soon change as Dave will be flying to Manila for a solo concert!

The concert will be held on May 27 at the Music Museum.

The concert, titled An Intimate Night with Dave Moffatt (who, by the way, is called the Singing Yogi), will feature more than 20 songs from The Moffatts and his original music, audience interaction, special activities, and selfies for VVIP ticket holders. And the best part, all ticket holders will get platinum membership to his online yoga classes!

The Moffatts is a Canadian band composed of brothers Scott, Clint, Dave, and Bob Moffatt. They rose to fame in 1998 when they released their album Chapter I: A New Beginning, which had the songs “I’ll Be There For You” and “Girl of My Dreams.” Two years later, they released the album Submodalities, with the single “Bang Bang Boom.” They became one of the biggest-selling acts in Southeast Asia, including the Philippines. To date, they are still the biggest selling international band in the country.

In 2001, the group disbanded and they pursued different music careers. Bob and Clint joined a band called Pusch, which performed at the 2002 Winter Olympics. It was later renamed Hidell, and released an album. Five years later, the two relocated to Thailand where they started a band called Same Same, before moving to Nashville, Tennessee to start the band called Two Bullet Parade. It was renamed to Like Strangers.

Meanwhile, Scott joined a band called The Boston Post, and Dave joined a Winnipeg production of Miss Saigon and Canadian Idol.

Tickets to An Intimate Night with Dave Moffatt are on sale at Ticketworld Manila and the Music Museum.
