In a recent interview, Darren Espanto set the record straight regarding the relationship speculations surrounding his friendship with Cassy Legaspi. “Makulit sila,” he said about their fans who have theorized that Darren Espanto and Cassy Legaspi are in a relationship.
Apparently, they are just best friends. Sabi ko best friends lang kami eh,” Darren Espanto denied. “Best friends talaga.”
“It’s something a lot of people won’t get,” he added, “Hindi ko alam paano explain pero syempre andun yung pagmamahal namin sa isa’t isa.”

When questioned about the potential progression of their relationship in the future, Darren Espanto answered, “No, not right now naman.”
Meanwhile, Darren Espanto became linked to Jillian Ward after they trended on social media due to their interaction during the launch of It’s Showtime on GMA last Saturday.
“Nagulat din ako trending din pangalan namin ni Jillian,” he told ABS-CBN News. “May mga ships na.”
