Dami Pang Gustong Sabihin Explores Modern Love and Silence

Not every love story ends with a breakup. Some just stop. A reply never comes. A connection fades. Two people keep feeling something, but neither one says enough to give it a shape or an ending. In modern dating, that kind of silence has become its own form of heartbreak.

That is the emotional world of Dami Pang Gustong Sabihin, a new Filipino romantic play presented by Teatro Marco, the team behind the hit heartbreaking show Ampalaya Monologues. The play centers on the kinds of relationships many people recognize now: the almosts and the maybes.

In Tayo Sa Pagitan ng Mga Salita, best friends and musical collaborators Alex (Aleczandra Ong) and Drei (Rael Navato) are rushing to finish a song for a competition. As the deadline gets closer, the feelings between them become harder to ignore.

In Mga Naiwang Tanong sa Huli Nating Tag-araw, Arman (Seth Dela Llana) and Drew (Vince Conrad) meet again after seven years when Drew arrives to cater Arman’s wedding. Their reunion stirs up feelings that never really disappeared—a past that was never settled.

Together, the two stories speak to a reality many people know all too well. Modern dating often leaves people without clear endings. The result is a kind of heartbreak that stays open because nothing was ever truly finished. At the center of the play is a question that many people carry long after someone is gone: Ano sana ang inamin mo?

MAGINHAWA’S NEWEST STAGE
The play runs at Teatro Marco’s black box studio on Maginhawa Street, Quezon City, a space designed for intimate theater. With limited seating per show, audiences experience the story up close, allowing for a deeper, more personal connection.

Dami Pang Gustong Sabihin runs on May 9, 10, 16, and 17, 2026 at 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Limited tickets are available via the official Teatro Marco Facebook page (@teatromarcoph) and its ticket partners.
