“Cup of Joe’s ‘Multo’ is now the most-streamed OPM song of all time on Spotify. It has surpassed Up Dharma Down’s ‘Tadhana,’” it wrote.
As of writing, “Multo” has 512,728,244 streams on the popular music streaming platform.
Previously, “Multo” became the first entry by a Filipino artist on the Billboard Global 200, where it reached the 80th spot. Furthermore, the song held the top spot for 27 consecutive weeks in Billboard Philippines’ Hot 100—the longest song topping in the chart’s history.
It also won Song of the Year at the first-ever Filipino Music Awards 2025.
“Multo” is a pop-rock ballad that explores the lingering grief of being haunted by memories of a relationship that has ended. It can also be interpreted as an introspection on regrets and the endless “what ifs” that follow.
