‘Crash Landing On You’ Tops Netflix’s Most-Watched List Among Filipinos

Nearly 2 weeks after Crash Landing On You aired its final episode for the season it remains the “most popular” Netflix release among Filipino viewers.

Netflix’s newly-rolled out Top 10 Feature stands as a testament to just how widely loved the Korean drama is amongst Filipino audiences.

The streaming service only just released the brand-new feature this February 25. It allows users to view the most-watched Netflix shows and movies in their country on that particular day. It updates daily to show the current rank.

Local comedy movie Jowable and British-American political thriller The Last Thing He Wanted follow CLOY on the list. Supernatural series Locke & Key and Pinoy romcom Cuddle Weather round up the top 5 of the list. The remaining 5 include To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You at 6th, Itaewon Class at 7th, Hi Bye, Mama! at 8th, Pup Academy at 9th, and Resident Evil: Vendetta at 10th.

Crash Landing On You revolves around South Korean heiress Yoon Se-ri (Son Ye Jin) as she literally crash-lands on North Korean territory following a paragliding accident. Se-ri then meets North Korean military officer Ri Jeong-hyeok (Hyun Bin) who tries to hide and protect her. The story follows the two as they fall in love.
