Popular K-drama Crash Landing On You has broken viewership ratings with their final episode.
Having aired Sunday night, the finale set the record “for the highest viewership ratings in tvN history.” tvN is a South Korean entertainment network that brought us the likes of Goblin and Hotel Del Luna.
According to Nielsen Korea, CLOY‘s final episode scored an average nationwide rating of 21.683 percent and a peak rating of 24.1 percent. This surpasses the record set by Goblin when its finale achieved a peak rating of 20.5 percent.
Crash Landing On You revolves around South Korean heiress Yoon Se-ri (Son Ye Jin) as she literally crash-lands on North Korean territory following a paragliding accident. Se-ri then meets North Korean military officer Ri Jeong-hyeok (Hyun Bin) who tries to hide and protect her. The story follows the two as they fall in love.
