There’s something about Kiefer’s INK Tattoo in Barangay Rosario, Pasig City that keeps me coming back. I’ve been here a few times for small tattoos, and every visit has been consistently easy, comfortable, and personal—no unnecessary hype or pretentious studio vibe, just good work and good people.

I’ve gotten a few of my favorite tattoos here: a tiny pig that started as an inside joke with a close friend, Calcifer from Howl’s Moving Castle, a sunflower, and a matching Minecraft-inspired tattoo that my kids love—their dad and I got it together for them.
My most detailed piece is a chibi tattoo of my friend group—drawn by one of our friends and inked by Jek, one of Kiefer’s artists. Every tattoo I’ve gotten here is tied to a person or memory I want to keep close, and that’s part of why this place feels special to me.

Sessions with Jek are always smooth. He prints out the stencil, suggests placements, and checks in throughout the session without hovering. I’ve noticed how relaxed the whole setup feels—it’s just enough conversation to make you comfortable, but never forced. I have a pretty high pain tolerance, but even then, it’s nice that they’re always mindful and gentle.
Rates are fair, too. Minimalist tattoos start at around ₱1,000, and my detailed chibi tattoo was about ₱4,000. Considering the care and precision that go into each session, it’s more than worth it. They also offer piercings, which many people come in for because of their affordable rates and the same easygoing vibe.
What stands out the most for me is how consistent everything is. No matter how many times I go, the experience feels the same—steady, unfussy, and comfortable. It’s the kind of studio that makes getting tattooed feel natural, not like an event you have to psych yourself up for.
It’s the kind of place where getting a tattoo just feels easy—no need to overthink or psych yourself up for it.
