Coldplay is a band that a lot of people in Manila have been hoping to see in concert, even topping our list of 10 Concerts People Would Like to See in Manila This 2016. Well, it seems that wish will actually be coming true this year.
Last night, the World Wide Web went wild when a brand manager of Globe Telecom posted a status on Facebook with a photo of Coldplay’s A Head Full of Dreams.
The status said,
“I’ve wanted to share this with you all for so long. It’s nothing short of Magic that I’ve been able to keep this a secret.
My mom has always said I’ve had a Head Full of Dreams, but I’ve learned that big dreams aren’t a bad thing; and if you pursue them, will take you on an Adventure of a Lifestime, and give you a taste of Paradise. My version is this, Coldplay is FINALLY coming to Manila, proudly sponsored by Globe! There are a few things in life that will Fix You, but a night filled with a Sky Full of Stars with them might just do it for me.
Forever and Always, – Your Princess of China”
The status is no longer available and while there still aren’t any full details on the concert, Coldplay is rumored to be coming in late 2016. In other words: still lots of time to save up for tickets!
For now, we’re looking forward to Globe’s official announcement on the matter.
