Club Punta Fuego: A Heavenly Food Trip Indeed!

LUNCH @ IL  JARDINETO

After the pastry tasting, we toured the Club again for awhile and eventually went down the Lower Beach, where another restaurant is located – the paradise known as Il Jardineto. Here, you will get to taste another international flavor of Punta Fuego and enjoy some of the best Italian dishes by the pool along with the warm ocean breeze.

Our lunch set menu was filled with popular Italians pastas and pizzas, and just by seeing the names of the dishes on the menu, my mouth literally salivated.

Penne Puttanesca- A popular dish with a sauce that is usually made from tomatoes, black olives, capers, anchovies, onions, garlic, and herbs, the sauce literally translates as “in the style of the whore”. Oh….

Risotto Gambereto- It’s a harmonious combination of shrimp and sticky rice resulting into a richly-flavored dish. It’s a bit ‘nakakauumay’, but nonetheless ‘sarap til you drop’.

Spinach Ravioli- Looking like a semi-buko pandan, semi-kakanin, this popular pasta recipe always provides people a pleasant surprise because of the meat, cheese and vegetables enveloped in its raviolis.

Beef Cannelloni- Placed in a shallow bowl, I specifically enjoyed this one because of its beefiness and cheesiness all combined into one great dish. 🙂

DESSERT: Gelato Tartufino

The Gelato Tartufino was the heavenly delight that ultimately ended our food trip at Club Punta Fuego. This puny ball of chocolate ‘gelato’ slowly melts in one’s mouth, leaving you wanting more of that decadent goodness. My goodness…
