“With ALAMAT, we’re not only welcoming one of the most distinctive acts in P-pop—we’re opening the doors to a third country and expanding the diversity of Asian entertainment in Europe,” Envol Production wrote.
According to the production company, the six-piece group “brings a fresh vision of Asian pop, seamlessly blending P-pop, hip-hop, R&B and dance with the languages, stories and cultural heritage of the Philippines.” As a result, they are able to create a unique and distinct musical identity that is proudly Pinoy.
Apart from concerts, this Asian gathering will also have exciting fan experiences, meet-and-greets, masterclasses, auditions, and more surprises yet to be announced.
Composed of Jao, Taneo, Mo, Tomás, R-Ji, and Alas, ALAMAT proudly showcases P-pop by incorporating the diverse languages of the Philippines into its music, with each member singing in their own native language.
They are best known for their hits “Maharani,” “Day and Night,” “Dagundong,” and “Hapag,” among others.
Congratulations, ALAMAT!
