Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and the rest of the gang are back—and this time, they’re up against a brand-new kind of challenge. The first teaser for Toy Story 5 introduces Lilypad, a frog-shaped tablet that promises to shake up playtime.

In the short clip, Bonnie receives a mysterious package, which turns out to be Lilypad, voiced by Greta Lee. The trailer hints at a clash between the familiar toys and this modern tech, with a tagline asking, “The age of toys is over?”
Classic favorites Jessie, Slinky Dog, and Forky return, alongside new character Smarty Pants, voiced by Conan O’Brien. As usual, Tom Hanks and Tim Allen reprise their roles as Woody and Buzz Lightyear.
The Toy Story series has been a mainstay in animation since 1995, and while the fourth film saw Woody choose a new path with Bo Peep, this next chapter looks set to explore fresh dynamics among the toys, especially as they navigate the digital-age threat of Lilypad.
