Cheat Day PH is a supplier of healthy meals delivered to your doorstep every day. These treats are perfect for those who are on diet, yet hate having plain or bland meals. So why call it “Cheat Day” if it’s healthy? Owner Francine Payumono explains, “I chose the name ‘Cheat Day’ because I want to change the notion that diet meals are bland and altogether uneatable.”
Their menu changes every week and is inspired by different dishes from all over the world. Francine also makes sure that Cheat Day PH provides only fresh ingredients from our local farmer’s market. And, as the package arrived, I was surprised to see they have a cheat sheet! I love how Cheat Day PH made it a point to personalize their meals with a friendly reminder for first timers.
The Breakfast Tortilla consists of shallots, tomatoes, cilantro, eggs, fat-free refried beans, and whole wheat tortillas. I’m not a fan of beans, but when I tried this snack, I loved it! It didn’t taste like a standard “healthy” food at all!
The Grilled Chicken Bruschetta was my favorite! The light taste of pepper and tomatoes blended well with the chicken. The dish consists of garlic cloves, EVOO, chicken breast, tomatoes, shallots, basil, red wine, vinegar, and 10 grain bread.
I was expecting dinner would be just a few pieces of greens. But I was surprised to have Korean Steak with Lettuce! The beef tasted so well because it was marinated with soy sauce, sesame oil, and sesame seeds. The meal also includes ginger, garlic clove, beef top round steak, green onion, and Boston lettuce.
The next day, I had a Garden Veggie Omelette. I’m a morning person, so I value eating heavy meals for breakfast. The omelette was so rich in flavor that I felt so full. The salt, pepper, and assorted vegetables suits the egg’s texture.
I’m not a fan of Indian Curry, but this dish is a must-try! The cauliflowers are infused with curry powder, garbanzo beans, low-fat yogurt, carrots, and ginger. Not a boring meal at all! The dish also contains onion, EVOO, vegetable broth, and red rice.
Lastly, I had the Bean Rice Salad for dinner. The red rice matched well with the assorted beans, garlic, green onion, and cumin powder it was mixed with. Yummy!
Overall, Cheat Day PH is a must-try because of the personalized and hands on service they provide for their clients. I witnessed Francine’s efforts in making sure that I would have a fun and healthy cheat meal, every day. For sure, she will do the exact same thing for you.
Cheat Day PH meals are priced at Php 2,000 a week. They deliver in Tondo, Ortigas, Quezon City, Makati, Mandaluyong, and Pasay.
