” We’re not just saying goodbye to a structure. We’re honoring a symbol—of everything we’ve fought for, built, and believed in,” she captioned her post. “It represents countless dreams turned into reality, lives changed forever, and a legacy that continues to live on.”

Dimples Romana echoed the same sentiments, sharing how the tower symbolized their dreams and aspirations in the industry.

“Our tower, stood the test of time, quietly watched us all grow, dream and persevere. It was and always will be a beacon for us to look up to when times got rough, it was and will always be a light that showed our colors, one that held quiet but steady magnificence. One that represents us all. Our hearts. A family. Come what may. Taas noo, Kapamilya,” she wrote.

“Tahimik na nag balik tanaw sa maraming taong naging saksi ito sa pagsasakaturapan ng aming mga pangarap—namin at ng aming mga pamilya (We quietly looked back on the many years this place witnessed the fulfillment of our dreams—both ours and our families),” she added.

Sofia Andres reflected on what the tower truly meant to her, sharing that it held the dreams of a young girl trying to make it in the industry: “This tower was more than just steel and signal. Para sa maraming kabataan lalo na sa mga aplikanteng araw-araw pumipila sa gate (For the youth, especially the applicants who line up at the gate every day). It represented hope, ambition, and the belief that anything is possible.”

“I was once that young girl, looking up, quietly whispering to myself, ‘Someday, I’ll make it too.’ And I did. Because of this place, I was inspired to dream and to keep going,” she shared.

Singer Jed Madela took a photo with the transmitter ahead of its demolition, as he had to fly to the United Kingdom for an event. Still, he expressed his utmost pride and gratitude as a loyal Kapamilya.

“I’ve always been a flag carrier of ABS-CBN in every part of the world and I am proud to be Kapamilya. My loyalty can never be questioned because isang tawag lang sa akin, pag pwede sa schedule, yes agad (just one call away, when the schedule permits, I’ll immediately say yes),” he said.

Meanwhile, TV host and news personality Kim Atienza couldn’t help but feel nostalgic about how the broadcasting arm shaped his journey.

He became a household name for being the resident weather anchor for “TV Patrol” and for headlining the informative show “Matanglawin.”

“Maraming maraming salamat sa 17 taon! Naalala kong lahat ngayong umaga. Its a bittersweet, nostalgic morning. Naging Kuya Kim ako dahil sa iyo (I became Kuya Kim because of you). All the best in the coming years kapamilya!” he reflected.

Finally, broadcast journalist Karen Davila took photos with several Kapamilya artists—including Charo Santos, Donny Pangilinan, Belle Mariano, Julia Montes, Coco Martin, and Ryan Bang—as they showed their love and appreciation for the tower one last time.

“I am so moved seeing everyone come together. After what’s unjustly been done to ABSCBN – not renewing its franchise in 2020—we are still here—standing together, smiling, creating. Resilient,” she remarked.

“I have been with ABSCBN for almost 25 years now. My love runs deep for this company. I have grown and become the professional I am today because of ABSCBN’s tough terrain. Now more than ever, I see every face, value every person, appreciate every day. I live grateful,” she concluded her post.

The ABS-CBN tower, which stood 350 meters tall, broadcast the Kapamilya signal from 1969 until the network’s forced shutdown in 2020. However, the tower is set to be demolished following Ayala Land Inc.’s acquisition of a 30,000-square-meter portion of the compound.
