Bureau of Immigration warns public on fake boarding passes

At Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) Terminal 3, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) officers caught 13 Filipino passengers with fake boarding passes as they were set to fly to Hong Kong.

According to Inquirer News, the Bureau of Immigration warns the public to keep an eye regarding scammers who may be selling you airline tickets or plane boarding passes which may be cheap but also fake.

The 13 Filipino passengers which included six women and seven women were caught while they were in line in the counter of Cathay Pacific, according to BI Port Operations Division Chief Grifton Medina.

According to Medina, the personnel of Cathay Pacific found that the boarding passes given to them were self-printed and the tickets were not issued by the airline. The passengers have been immediately turned over to the BI.
