With revenge travel in full swing, Bumble, the women-first dating and social networking app, is announcing the launch of a limited edition ‘Travel with me’ badge which will be available on the Bumble app from now until the end of August. The badge will help the Bumble Philippines community find fellow travel lovers to experience new places and adventures together.

With countries reopening borders, travel is on the rebound as Filipinos and consumers around the world race to satisfy their pent-up wanderlust. Outbound passenger travel in the Philippines has already returned to around 70% of pre-pandemic levels. Moreover, airlines have also reported a surge in flight bookings within the Philippines over the past two quarters. According to Bumble’s internal data, the usage of ‘travel and places’ emoji category on Bumble in the Philippines ranks fourth out of the top 10 categories in 2022.
