Good news for BLINKs: BLACKPINK is set to go on a world tour in 2025, as announced by YG Entertainment.
On December 1, YG Entertainment’s founder and executive producer Yang Hyun-suk confirmed via the label’s official YouTube channel that the popular girl group will be going on a concert tour next year.

“It’s a significant year as BLACKPINK’s world tour kicks off,” he said, eliciting anticipation and positive comments from BLINKs worldwide.
In July 2024, Yang revealed that many artists within their company would be active simultaneously, but the girl group would be embarking on a world tour the following year. “There will be a highly anticipated comeback from BLACKPINK and it will also be the year BLACKPINK starts their world tour,” the executive producer shared.
In October 2022, BLACKPINK began their second worldwide concert tour “Born Pink World Tour” following the release of their second studio album Born Pink. After holding 66 concerts in 22 countries, the K-pop girl group concluded their concert tour in September 2023.
Their highly successful worldwide concert tour holds two records: the highest-grossing concert tour by a female group and the most-attended concert tour by a K-pop girl group.
This year, the four members of the phenomenal K-pop girl group focused on their respective solo careers. Members LISA, Jennie, and Rosé released a string of successful singles: LISA showcased her vocal prowess with Rockstar, New Woman, and Moonlit Floor; Jennie blazed the stage with Mantra; and Rosé shook the world with her viral collaboration single APT with Bruno Mars. Meanwhile, JISOO is currently prioritizing acting projects.
While there are no specific schedules set for BLACKPINK’s 2025 world tour, BLINKs can look forward to Rosé’s upcoming album Rosie, LISA’s acting debut in The White Lotus as well as her solo album Alter Ego, which is set to be released in 2025, Jennie’s solo projects, and Jisoo’s much-awaited lead performances in acting projects soon.
