Beloved BL series “Gaya Sa Pelikula” is coming back with all-new episodes!
Globe Studios has announced that in celebration of Pride Month, it will be releasing special feature episodes that will show the process of making the online series that was directed by JP Habac and written by Juan Miguel Severo.
To those who have yet to watch the show, “Gaya Sa Pelikula” follows the story of a 19-year-old architecture student named Karl (Paolo Pangilinan) who moves into a new condo unit in order to live independently. There, he meets his neighbor Vlad (Ian Pangilinan), who’s in hiding from his family. After a series of strange events, Karl gets stuck with Vlad as his housemate in exchange for cash in order to help him make ends meet, and thus their romance blossoms.
It premiered on YouTube in September 2020 and has since gathered a huge fanbase locally and internationally. It then started streaming on Netflix in January 2021.
The special set of episodes, titled “Gaya Sa Pelikula Special: Ang Pagbawi ng Ating Kwento,” will drop every Friday starting this week, on June 11, 18, and 25.
