Ben&Ben to hold an online gig to raise funds for COVID-19 frontliners

Following the COVID-19 pandemic, many artists have reached out to their fans to ask for help and donations. Celebrities have taken it to social media to show their support to frontliners, encouraging everyone to do what they can to help curb the virus.

With this, OPM band Ben&Ben announced that they will be holding an FB live event for COVID-19 efforts. The event will be on March 27, 7PM on their Facebook page. The band has also has launched a website where people can help and donate to frontliners and people who are greatly affected by the virus.

So far, they posted on Facebook that they were able to raise 1 million pesos in less than a day. They said their goal is to raise 5 million pesos to aid the COVID-19 crisis. They’ve also expressed their gratitude to everyone who donated.

As of writing, the COVID-19 virus has infected 396 people in the country. There have been 33 reported fatalities and 18 recoveries from the virus.
