When in Manila, you will be surprised how people are keen when it comes to fashion and latest trends in hairstyles and cosmetic products. In fact, the Philippines is becoming known as one of the best providers of cosmetic and aesthetic services. In short, anything about beautification, we strive hard to be the trendsetters!
Beauty Lane Philippines is no stranger. They take pride to be the exclusive distributors of some international products like Elgon, Ardell, Brazillian Blowout, as well as local brands like Fabulash to thousands of salons and cosmetic businesses nationwide.
Last week, I was lucky to be invited, along with other bloggers, to participate in Elgon’s hair color session and try their patented eyelash extension, Fabulash.
Fabulash is the first and only Philippine brand of Professional and Eyelash Extensions and the only product line of its kind to be registered with the Philippine FDA. It is a complete system that provides a salon with everything it needs for a successful eyelash extension business.
I don’t have long eyelashes. And that is how I became passionate about discovering mascaras. According to the Beauty Lane Eyelash expert, she had a hard time putting the extensions on because my eyelashes were too short and curly.
She also informed me that while my eyelashes are still intact, I should refrain from applying mascara since it will ruin the natural look. Depending on how careful you are, the extensions can last for 2-6 weeks.
Also, the ideal procedure time of applying the eyelashes is 45 minutes. Mine only took 30 minutes, since I was impatient and too excited to see the end result. (Nah, I had to pee! I cannot control it anymore!) I had my eyelash done last May 30, and this photo was taken yesterday. It was still intact, despite rubbing my eyes at times.
On the other hand, although I already dyed my hair several times, the end result is usually disappointing. It was my first time to try Elgon products this time, so I was hesitant and nervous since it was a permanent hair coloring solution! I was scared it would be another failure. But it turned out fine, just the way I like it!
Some interesting facts about Elgon:
- Elgon is a product from Milan, Italy and was founded in 1970.
- They have products that are ammonia and paraben free which are suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
- Elgon offers a 10-minute color product that every salon should have!
Beauty Lane is NOT a salon but a training center for salon owners where they can also avail products such as Elgon, Ardell, Brazillian Blowout, China Glaze, Fabulash, and more. Therefore, if you want to put up a salon or stock up on your beauty products and/or supplies, Beauty Lane is your go-to place.
Thank you, Beauty Lane, for inviting me. It was absolutely a fun-filled and informative event. I have learned a lot from your stylists and product specialists, especially, to Ms. Becky.
