Bea, who publicly announced her pregnancy earlier this month, admitted that the name “Hope” first came from her best friend, actress Andrea Brillantes. During one of their late-night conversations, Andrea—who was also going through personal struggles at the time—encouraged Bea by wishing her baby would be a girl named Hope.
“Si Blythe, she texted me because she was also going through something. Ako naman, umiiyak ako kasi I was going through a breakup tapos she texted me na ‘Bea, sana girl ‘yung baby mo tapos ang pangalan niya ay Hope,’” Bea recalled.
The word struck her deeply, especially as she navigated heartbreak and the challenges of facing pregnancy rumors before she was ready to share her news publicly.

“I was at my rock bottom pero I feel like… punong-puno na ako ng hope ngayon. The hope na everything will be okay. Na binigay talaga siya ni God sa akin kasi may reason siya,” Bea said, opening up about how the name became a turning point for her outlook in life.
But why Victoria Hope? Bea explained that “Victoria” was her way of giving the word “hope” an active, powerful meaning.
“Actually, ang full name niya is Victoria Hope. Kasi syempre ‘pag lagyan mo ng action ‘yung hope, victorious siya,” she shared.

With a name as meaningful as Victoria Hope, it’s clear Bea is embracing motherhood with strength, optimism, and a heart full of faith.
