Bb. Pilipinas Sends Off the First Binibini to Compete in the International Arena
Youโll see numerous of beautiful women when in Manila. Itโs no wonder that Gary Vโs Song โManilaโ mentioned โMga babae mong naggagandahan, take me back in your arms Manila.โ Now, the world is waiting for the beauty that a Filipina has to offer in the first battle of one of the Big 4 pageants, Ms. International.
Last April, I was privileged to be sent by WIM in the grand coronation of Bb. Pilipinas 2014 (read about it here:ย Bb. Pilipinas 2014: 5 Glittery and Unexpected Moments). Six months later, I was able to be up close and personal with this year’s winners which include Bb. Pilipinas ’14 Universe-Mary Jean Lastimosa, Bb. Pilipinas ’14 International-Bianca Guidotti, Bb Pilipinas ’14 Tourism-Parul Shah, Bb. Pilipinas ’14 Intercontinental-Kris Tiffany Janson, Bb. Pilipinas ’14 Supranational-Yvethe Marie Santiago, Bb. Pilipinas ’14 1st RU-Laura Victoria Lehmann and Bb. Pilipinas ’14 2nd RU-Hannah Ruth Sison.

The world must set their eyes on the beauty that might give us the back-to-back win in Ms. International, though: Bianca Guidotti.
Bianca and Jonas Gaffud, the notable beauty queen maker.
This time last year, Bea Rose Santiago left the country to make history as the Philippines’ fifth Miss International. This year, Mary Anne Bianca Guidotti vies for an even bigger historical feat as she guns for a back-to-back Miss International victory.
Bianca is between giggles and tears while listening to the inspiring words from her co-binibinis.
Bianca’s mom, Ms. Gela, giving her more inspiring words that made Bianca teary-eyed.
With a killer combination of beauty and brains, Bianca is well positioned to clutch the title. Svelte and statesque at 5’8″, Bianca possesses striking good looks and a charming smile.
Bianca’s educational background boasts a degree in European Studies at the Ateneo de Manila University.
Shuttling back and forth from Brazil to Manila has also given her rich knowledge of language, speaking fluent English, Filipino, Spanish, and Portuguese and recently learning Japanese.
Oh that smile!
The thing that makes Bianca really stand out is her eloquence and intellect. You can really see how classy she is every time she utters a word.
Mr. Norman Tinio, one of the most sought-after and top bloggers for beauty pageants, during the Q&A with Bianca.
I was so happy to see him there as I am an avid reader of his blog.
Bianca was asked about her opinion about the death of transpinay Jennifer Laude. She saidย “I believe in the dignity of human life. It can never be diminished. We are all human beings and that is something that we must uphold.” And as an LGBT advocate, I firmly believe that this lady has something to say to the entire world of upholding not just the passe world peace, but also with equality.
So, watch out for the finals of Miss International 2014 on November 11, 2014 held in Tokyo. By the way, you can also help Bianca by casting a vote in the website of Miss International. Please be reminded that you can only give one vote per day from the same IP address. You can click here.

After the finals of Miss International on November 11, 2014, there could a possibility that we will see lots of print ads, posters and billboards congratulating Bianca when in Manila. And that is not something so far-fetched considering the beauty and brain that this lady has to offer. Let’s also do our part in gauging her chances by voting, though. One last thing that she would like to impart to all of us: “beauty is ephemeral, what stays with you is your character.”
