barre3 Philippines: The Perfect Solution for a Longer and Stronger You

I just started my own barre3 Philippines membership last week, so I’ve only been to three classes so far. On my first class, I have to admit that I was incredibly drained and tired, but the challenge only made me want to go back for more!

barre3 Philippines focuses on the entire body during the 60 minutes of the workout and generally consists of effective exercise sequences specially made to transform the body to one of equal balance, flexibility and strength. My body definitely needs a lot of work, so I always put 101% of my energy into every barre3 Philippines session that I attend.

The barre3 Philippines workout starts with the thighs – definitely the hardest part for me! The difference between working out your legs at home and working out at barre3 Philippines, though, is that you will be motivated to work harder because of the other people around you.

I don’t know about you, but when I get tired at home, I usually just go, “Meh, good enough” and stop. But you simply dont’ have that option at barre3 Philippines, making it that much more effective. Besides, seeing the more experienced students go at it makes you want to step up your game and get better at it, too!

barre3 Philippines generally incorporates ballet, yoga and pilates all into one. Since I do yoga on a regular basis, as well, the balancing part of the workout is one of my favorite ones. I find yoga relaxing, so this is my “rest phase” throughout the entire workout. I have come to find that the “rest phase” differs from one person to the next, though, depending on each person’s strengths in terms of exercising.

The arms are also targeted during barre3 Philippines‘ vigorous workout. And, while I usually have no trouble working out with 3 to 4 pound dumbbells, I found it difficult to keep up with the entire arm sequence with these 2-pound ones during my first week. My goal by the end of the month is therefore to finish the arm sequences without putting down my dumbbells out of fatigue. Fight!

We are told that not using the dumbbells during this part of the workout doesn’t affect the effectiveness of the arm exercises during this part of the barre3 Philippines workout, though!

And there they are: my famous back rolls. Haha. Now you can see how badly I need barre3 Philippines in my life, huh? Anyway, that photo was meant to showcase the ab exercises that barre3 Philippines has to offer, which can improve your posture and core strength at the same time. Once you master these, you should definitely have an easier time mastering the rest of the exercises at barre3 Philippines.

Of course, barre3 Philippines doesn’t forget to help their students cool down after each workout, either, with stretches that increase their flexibility and create a natural flow to the body. These stretches also connect the body, mind and breath in order to relieve stress.

As a whole, barre3 Philippines supports the body in both static and dynamic movements leading to long and lean muscles. Aside from that, it also energizes and increases stamina, so you never feel “dead” after a workout, but more ready for the day ahead! Although I have only finished three sessions so far, it isn’t too early to say that I am addicted to barre3 Philippines and can’t wait to show you the results. So, When in Manila, why not join me sometime? 🙂
