If you put a bar and a restaurant in one place, what do you get? Simply put, an awesome venue where you can have dinner with your family or friends after a hectic workday or just sit back and relax and enjoy a cold bottle of beer whilst watching your favorite game or chillin’ with a live band. Sounds great, right?

Amongst other establishments in the area, Barley Gastropub serves an extensive menu selections with unique concepts like the Beer Can Chicken with Grilled Corn, Baked Corn, Garlic Confit and BBQ Sauce (serve half or whole). It may sound like a mouthful but once devoured, the taste will make a huge difference. Think of juicy, gleaming, tender, and roasted-to-perfection chicken goodness and you’ll get what we mean.

Another menu favorite is the Crispy Pata Jamon with Sauerkraut, Roasted Baby Potatoes, Garlic Confit and Spiced Soy-Garlic Vinegar. The crackle of the pata is delightful to the ears and fits perfectly with the vinegar. What’s new about this is that the meat inside is made up of sweet hamon. Totes genius!

Having a great drinking sesh? Make room for Barley Gastropub Sisig with Roasted Bone Marrow. This piquant dish gave us the ‘oohs’ and the ‘aahs’, definitely a putok-batok moment but nonetheless delectable. You can also pair your drinks the vegan way with Roasted Vegetables with Cheese Stack. In one dish, you’ll get zucchini, eggplant, tomatoes, artichoke, tomato ragu, and kesong puti.

This next dish left an aromatic sensation that perfumed our table and provoked a feeling of ambrosial satisfaction – Truffle and Egg Pasta. Mind you, this dish does not skimp on the truffle oil.
