Based on the well-loved film, Bar Boys: The Musical follows four friends—Erik, Chris, Torran, and Josh—as they pursue their dream of becoming lawyers. It explores how their ambitions, values, and relationships shift as they navigate the pressures of school and the challenges that come with growing up.

The new staging has been described by audiences and reviewers as both emotionally resonant and socially charged, with comments calling it “a battle cry against injustice” and “a sprawling, resonant spectacle.”

The production recently earned several wins at the 15th Gawad Buhay Awards, including:

  • Outstanding Ensemble Performance for a Musical

  • Female Featured Performance in a Musical – Sheila Francisco

  • Male Featured Performance in a Musical – Juliene Mendoza

It also received 13 additional nominations, including Outstanding Musical.

The musical features a large ensemble led by:

  • Benedix Ramos as Erik

  • Alex Diaz as Chris

  • Jerom Canlas as Torran

  • Omar Uddin as Josh

They are joined by a full cast of seasoned performers and covers, supported by a creative team that includes:

  • Pat Valera (book and lyrics)

  • Myke Salomon (music and lyrics; musical director)

  • Mikko Angeles (director)

  • Jomelle Era (choreographer)

  • and many more collaborators who shaped the production’s music, staging, visuals, and technical design.

Tickets are available via Ticket2Me, priced between ₱999 and ₱3,499.
