Is Awra Briguela Back?
The influencer has just made a return to social media with two new posts, which might be signaling the end of her hiatus that lasted for over a month. Briguela took to Instagram to promote her upcoming TV series, “Comedy Island Philippines,” which marks the first local Amazon original title on the Prime Video streaming platform.
“Ready na kami for #ComedyIslandPH! August 31, only on Prime Video,” she captioned the show’s main poster along with island-related emojis.

Apart from Awra, this reality series stars Carlo Aquino, Rufa Mae Quinto, Andrea Brillantes, Jerald Napoles, Cai Cortez, Justine Luzares, and Drew Arellano. With these celebrities competing in the “Centennial Games” on “Tawa-Tawa Island,” the show promises a hilarious adventure!
On June 29, Briguela was arrested on charges of physical injuries, alarm and scandal, direct assault, and disobedience to a person in authority, following a brawl in Barangay Poblacion, Makati City. This incident prompted her to take a social media hiatus, with her last post dating back to June 28 where she promoted her Candy Magazine cover. Subsequently, she was released from the Makati Regional Court on the evening of July 1 and refrained from posting until today.

As of now, Awra Briguela has not addressed the bar scuffle publicly. It also remains unclear whether she will return to creating regular content. Fans who have been missing her will just have to watch her on the six-part series which will be available on the Prime Video app from August 31 to September 7.
