Atom Araullo has always kept his personal life low-key, but this time, he let the public in on a little more than usual. During a guest appearance on Fast Talk With Boy Abunda, the journalist confirmed that he’s currently in a long-term relationship.

When Boy Abunda casually asked if he was seeing someone, Atom simply answered, “Yes.” He didn’t go into details, but he did share that the relationship has been going on for quite some time.
“Matagal na. How many years? See… we don’t even count. It’s been a while,” he said.
Atom also mentioned that his partner is a public figure. Though he didn’t name her, he said people online likely already have an idea. “She is public. I think people know. People on social media know. They see us outside often,” he added.
As for the topic of marriage, Atom kept things grounded. He acknowledged that it’s normal to think about it when you’re in a serious relationship, but he’s not setting any timelines.
“That’s always in someone’s mind when they’re in a serious relationship… something you’re ready for,” he shared. “But I’m not setting a deadline or timeline for it.”
This isn’t the first time Atom has spoken about what he looks for in a partner. In an interview on Pia Arcangel’s podcast, he described being drawn to people who are deeply passionate about something and those who show “genuine kindness.”
“You get an understanding kung ano ‘yung genuine kindness eh… lalo na kapag mas may edad ka na,” he said. He also mentioned appreciating people who may seem stern at first but have a soft, empathetic side.
While Atom didn’t identify his current partner, fans have long speculated about his closeness with fellow journalist Zen Hernandez. Rumors began in 2021 after Zen posted a photo of Atom and Pinky Webb in Balesin. Since then, the two have occasionally shared photos together and were even spotted celebrating their birthdays with Ryan Chua in Hong Kong in 2023. However, neither has confirmed nor denied the speculation.
