Just after Adamson named former De La Salle coach Franz Pumaren as its new head coach, Ateneo de Manila University is pulling moves of its own!
Local reports say that the Blue Eagles are hiring a new head coach for their men’s basketball team, in the form of national team head coach Tab Baldwin!
Citing unnamed sources, reports add that coach Tab Baldwin has accepted a one-year deal for the post as head coach, and that the process of his hiring is “80 percent done”.
Tab Baldwin will be taking over head coach Bo Perasol, who has expressed that he will be leaving his post at the end of the season. Coach Bo Perasol was with the Blue Eagles for three seasons, and has led the team to the semi-finals twice.
This is proving to be an interesting season for the UAAP next year!
