A new journey begins for global travel and lifestyle brand TUMI, as it officially announces celebrated Chinese actor Wei Daxun as its newest Asia-Pacific brand ambassador.
The announcement comes fresh off the heels of TUMI’s Shanghai flagship store opening earlier this month, marking another milestone in the brand’s growing presence across the region.

Recognized for his versatility and charisma, Wei Daxun has won the hearts of fans across Asia through acting, music, and philanthropy. Beyond the spotlight, he’s admired for his professionalism, discipline, and drive—qualities that naturally align with TUMI’s 50-year legacy of precision, creativity, and innovation.
Wei debuts as the face of TUMI’s 19 Degree Lite “Uncompromisingly Light” campaign, the final chapter in a global series that celebrates freedom of movement and innovation.
Directed by David Pun and captured by renowned photographer GK (国琨), the campaign follows Wei as he seamlessly transitions between cities, film sets, and fleeting moments—always equipped with TUMI travel companions built to keep pace with his lifestyle.
Among them are the 19 Degree Lite International 4 Wheeled Carry-On in Black Graphite and the Alpha Bravo Navigation Backpack in Navy Coated Canvas. Both are designed for functionality, reliability, and a sense of effortless style.

“Wei brings an energy and authenticity that seamlessly aligns with TUMI’s values,” said Victor Sanz, TUMI’s creative director. “He’s a true reflection of the modern global traveler: intentional, dynamic, and always in motion.”
Wei shares the same sentiment: “It’s an honor to join the TUMI family. I’ve long admired the brand’s dedication to timeless quality and purpose. Their collections are designed for real life, and they move with me wherever I go.”
With this collaboration, Wei Daxun joins an impressive roster of TUMI ambassadors that includes McLaren Formula 1 driver Lando Norris, LPGA golfer Nelly Korda, and PGA Tour golfer Ludvig Åberg.
