Have you been to Arte Tattoo Studio before? I’m no tattoo noob so what I look for in a tattoo studio might be different from what a first-timer is looking for. Aside from professionalism, good reviews, and affordability; I now have comfort at the top of my list of priorities. Gone are the days when I’d look for a good deal, screw if I have to sit in a cramped and messy area.

While I am not sure what Arte Tattoo Studio was like back when it was founded in 2013 by Kel Laquin (Mr. Inkvestor) and Charles Arteta; it is now a spacious, well-lit, and comfortable studio that you will definitely want to keep coming back to.

“While most studios have a dark-themed and masculine atmosphere, we have created a more cozy vibe to ensure that our clients, especially first-time female clients, feel safe and comfortable while getting inked,” Kel explains.
And they have definitely succeeded. The minute you enter Arte Tattoo Studio, you will be greeted by a comfy couch where you can chill while they prepare your tattoo stencil and the seat where you will get tattooed.

The whole place is generally already well-lit but they also have ring lights for even better lighting during the session and for pictures after the session.
I actually first visited Arte Tattoo Studio last year so this wasn’t my first rodeo. My first tattoo was a BTS tattoo done by Charles Arteta himself and it was such a quick and pleasant experience, I knew that Arte Tattoo Studio would become my go-to tattoo studio moving forward.

I kept getting praised for how flawless my tattoo came out so I kept recommending the place to friends. Obviously, when I felt like it was time to get a new one, I didn’t hesitate to go there again.
And even though Charles wasn’t the one who did my tattoo this time around, the experience was just as calm and as comfortable as could be. I especially appreciate how they constantly checked in on me to see if I was okay or if I needed a break. And when I said the aircon was a bit too cold for me, they took care of that too.

You might think that everything I’ve mentioned are common traits that tattoo studios should have but you’ll be surprised by how many fail on different aspects.
It turns out that Arte Tattoo Studio’s artists and staff go through regular training, encompassing not just the artistic aspect but also customer care and fostering strong client relationships, all to elevate the overall customer experience.
They also go the extra mile by hiring mentors, lawyers, accountants, marketing teams, and other professionals because they take employee care seriously.
