The latest project by ABS-CBN International Production and Nathan Studios Inc. is helmed by Dan Villegas. Written by Dodo Dayao, the six-part thriller delves into a series of murders by a mysterious killer. Arjo steps into the character of Anton Dela Rosa, unearthing hidden secrets from the original case.

And boy, did his performance make waves! Not just locally, but internationally too. Just recently, Arjo was named Best Actor in a Leading Role at the Asian Academy Creative Awards 2023 for the same role. The show also bagged Best Cinematography and Best Drama Series awards!

Now, the actor/politician has also caught the eye of another prestigious award-giving body, the 2023 Asia Content Awards & Global OTT Awards.

The awarding ceremony for the annual event that celebrates excellent content made for TV, OTT, and online across Asia happens on October 8 in South Korea, with live streaming available on YouTube. Arjo is facing off against fellow Asian actors such as Moving‘s Ryu Seung-ryong (South Korea), The Long Season‘s Fan Wei (China), Delete‘s Nat Kitcharit (Thailand), First Love‘s Satoh Takeru (Japan), and Gannibal‘s Yūya Yagira (Japan).

Arjo has already won a Best Actor award at the Asian Academy Creative Awards back in 2020 for his role in “Bagman.” Aside from being an award-winning artist, he serves as a Quezon City Representative and the Vice Chairman of the House Special Committee on Creative Industry and Performing Arts.
