AJ Raval has finally spoken up regarding the latest controversy she’s found herself in thanks to rumors that she is being courted by Diego Loyzaga, who is currently in a relationship with Barbie Imperial.
The rumors were sparked by social media personality Xian Gaza who alleged that the actor had visited AJ at her home in Pampanga which the actress denied in an exclusive interview with Pika Pika over the weekend.
“Never po nanligaw si Diego sa akin. Wala po kaming naging relationship ni Diego. One time ko lang po siyang nakasama, sa set pa po ng “Death of a Girlfriend.” Ayon lang po. (Diego never courted me. We never had a relationship. I only spent time with him once, on the set of “Death of a Girlfriend.” That’s it),” she said, asserting that she “did nothing wrong.”
She also noted that she had not been in contact with Diego and Barbie in recent months and that she last saw Barbie a year ago. “Ever since naging sila, hindi ko na po sila nakausap na dalawa. Wala po kaming connections, wala po kaming contact. (Ever since they became a couple, I never talked with them. We never had connections, we never contacted each other.)”
“Walang totoo, sa totoo lang po. Hindi po totoo. Parang natatawa na lang po ako sa kanila (Nothing is true, to be honest. It’s not true. I’m getting amused by them, actually),” AJ added, referring to all the people calling her “a mistress.” And despite Barbie criticizing her for maintining silence when the issue broke out, AJ expressed that she understood where Barbie was coming from and her need to defend her boyfriend.
“[Sana] po maging [okay] si Barbie at saka si Diego. ‘Wag po silang magpapadala sa mga sinasabi ng mga tao (I hope Barbie and Diego will be okay. May they not be affected by what other people say),” she said.
