Le Labo brings back its annual City Exclusive Collection this September. While these location-inspired scents usually remain locked inside their home cities year-round, perfume enthusiasts worldwide gain temporary access to the entire lineup for a limited time.

Starting August 1, sample sizes and discovery sets became accessible on the brand website and in physical boutiques. Full-size bottles are available for purchase throughout September on the site, in stand-alone labs, and through selected retail locations. To lower environmental waste, owners of 50ml, 100ml, and 500ml bottles can refill their empty City Exclusive containers with the same scent at select boutiques year-round for a 20 percent discount.

This year features the launch of SHIU 25, created to represent Beijing. Inspired by quiet moments in traditional artisan spaces, the fragrance features Ho tree essence, iris notes, olibanum, and grounding woods. The scent draws inspiration from the brand’s boutique in Wang Fu Central, which fuses classic Siheyuan architecture with modern interior design.

The temporary release includes distinct scents from major global destinations:
OSMANTHUS 19 honors Kyoto with a mix of incense, lavender, creamy osmanthus flower, and woody undertones. CORIANDRE 39 represents Mexico City through a blend of lime, cilantro leaves, watery notes, green florals, and musk. MYRRHE 55 pays tribute to Shanghai using myrrh resin, jasmine, patchouli, oud, ambergris, and musk. CEDRAT 37 brings Berlin to life using cedrat, ginger, woods, musk, and ambergris. CITRON 28 highlights Seoul through a balance of lemon, ginger, jasmine, cedar, and musk. TABAC 28 captures Miami using tobacco absolute, oud, cedarwood, gaiac wood, rum, and green cardamom. BIGARADE 18 reflects Hong Kong with bergamot, neroli petals, musks, and warm woods. GAIAC 10 represents Tokyo using gaiac wood, four distinct musks, cedar, and olibanum.
The complete collection also features iconic releases like MUSC 25 for Los Angeles and VANILLE 44 for Paris. Fans can explore and purchase these limited offerings through the end of September.
