In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Franki Russell confirmed she’s currently single, though she admitted she and Enrique Gil once had a “talking stage.” Photos of the two in Bohol made rounds online last year, which she clarified were actually from a group trip.

“There was a point in time we were getting together, I guess, but we realized we are better off as friends,” she shared, adding that dating in Manila and in the showbiz industry can be challenging.
Russell also addressed claims that she was a third party in the relationship between Alexa Miro and Sandro Marcos, firmly denying the allegation.
“That never happened. It is not true,” she said.
Russell explained that, while they have mutual friends, she has not seen Marcos in years and that their interactions have never extended beyond casual circles.
She also expressed disappointment over how the issue was presented publicly, saying she was “shocked” by the claims and felt the timeline shared did not add up.
“I think his ex was on a livestream—sounded lasing maybe. Saying things. I was shocked, and I felt sad—you were not a girl’s girl. You encouraged tearing down another woman when the facts were not right. I do not know her apart from that situation,” Russell said.
Despite the controversy, Russell remains focused on her career. She is currently part of the Viva Movie Box series Fake Socialite, alongside Cindy Miranda and Priscilla Meirelles.
