The soundtrack of the highly anticipated sequel, “Beyond,” will soon be available in Filipino. The original song, written by Grammy-winning songwriters Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear, will be adapted into Filipino as “Anong Daratnan?” Performed by Belle Mariano, it will be featured during the end credits of the film’s Philippine release! This marks the first time a Filipino version of a Disney song has been featured in a Disney animated film.
“Sobrang grateful ko kasi dream ko maka-work ang Disney,” Belle Mariano expressed. “Moana is one of my favorite Disney characters, and I’m really emulating her fearlessness in my rendition of this song.”

Meanwhile, Walt Disney Company Southeast Asia’s Studio General Manager and Integrated Marketing Director Rachel Fong emphasized that the soundtrack is one of the key reasons for Moana’s success, apart from its visuals and narrative. “By collaborating with local talents like Belle for ‘Moana 2,’ we hope fans in the Philippines resonate deeply with the beautiful lyrics of ‘Beyond,’ and experience Moana’s excitement as she embarks on a new voyage to explore the far seas of Oceania,” she elaborated.
Set three years after the original film, “Moana 2” follows Moana (voiced by Auli’i Cravalho) and Maui (voiced by Dwayne Johnson) on a new adventure across the vast ocean.
