Heard, on the other hand, retains her role in the upcoming sequel of Aquaman as of writing despite a petition signed by hundreds of thousands of fans to remove her from the highest-grossing DC Comics adaptation ever made. It was earlier reported though that there will be three female characters in Aquaman 2 to reduce Heard’s screen time without affecting the storyline.
