IV of Spades will be joining UDD tour in USA

On Saturday, June 22, OPMBay MUSIC announced the exciting news of UDD, formerly known as Up Dharma Down, and IV of Spades, two of the hottest bands in the OPM scene sharing the stage for the North American Tour 2019).

UDD was formed in Manila in 2004 and has since released three albums namely: Fragmented, Bipolar and Capacities. They released the albums under independent record label: Terno Recordings. The group’s members are Armi Millare, Ean Mayor, Carlos Tanada, and Paul Yap.

The band has reached many highlights including being featured in the July issue of Time magazine and being the first Filipino band included in MTV’s “Advance Warning”, where they were part of the up-and-coming artists in the Asian region and worldwide. In 2018, they already held a headlining tour in the US. It was also recently announced by the band that they have completed their much awaited fourth studio album.

In UDD’s upcoming tour, new OPM rising group IV Of Spades (IVOS) will be joining them. The band has been reaching several people’s attention. They won New Artist of the Year and the MYX Bandarito Performance of the Year. Also, they were nominated as Group the Year at the annual MYX Music Awards.

IV of Spades (pronounced “four of spades”) is a Filipino band from Manila which consists of Zild Benitez, Blaster Silonga and Badjao de Castro. Fans have also appreciated IV of Spades being inspired by the fashion of the 1970s, acts, and sounds during that time as well.

SEPT 13 – San Diego
SEPT 14 – Las Vegas
SEPT 20 – Chicago
SEPT 21 – New York

The two OPM bands will be starting their six-stop tour around North America by September 6, 2019.
