4. Where to go on a budget?
Salcedo is sosyal that’s the one word you can definitely describe it with. It is very sosyal. Though you don’t have to break the bank to experience good food and drinks When In Salcedo. Aside from the fast food chains on the corners, If your barkada is not in the mood to go to a fancy bar and you’re on a budget, 121 Grille and Restaurant will be your to go to place after work! They got you covered from a variety of filipino food, cocktails and beers to choose from.
For a big group, order their Crispy Pata and Nachos they say it serves around 3-5 people but we weren’t able to finish all. We call it monster serving! It’s not just affordable and big in serving, it’s one of the best I’ve tried. Dip it on their special 121 sauce and it’s a party!
If you’re into wings please try their Wings n Things. Every single variant was really good but our favorite was the Korean Soy Glazed! They also have Spicy Buffalo Wings, Sweet Chili Asian Wings.
Drinks in a fishbowl? Kinakareer nila ang big serving, I swear. This is called a Scorpion bowl. You can put straws in it if you would fancy and drink to your barkada’s liking. Their best sellers are the Pink Panty and this is the Bullfrog!
You can’t leave a place like 121 without having their humble Liempo. Grilled to perfection, perfect for beer. Â & You know when a place is really good when even their rice is very good? 121 has a good version of Tuyo Rice. Don’t worry, it won’t smell or taste fishy. You’ll just taste the savory combination on the rice.
