Did you know that the idea of Red Cross dates back to 1859? The organization was established with the aim to help those who are wounded because of armed conflicts–especially soldiers. True to this day, Red Cross still advocates for the protection of the lives and dignity of war victims and gives victims of internal violence protection. In the Philippines, Red Cross focuses on isolated areas of the country suffering from the consequences of long-running armed conflicts.

Animal Welfare – Pasay Pups’ Animal Care Program
Have fun with the furry friends of Pasay through the Pasay Pups’ Program. This organization strives to lead by example in the hopes that other people will also care and love animals. They provide spay and neuter, vaccination services, and flea and tick prevention. You don’t have to be an expert to volunteer! You can also assist them in bathing, feeding, and playing with the dogs.

Elderly – San Lorenzo Ruiz Home for the Elderly
Give back to the former pillars of our society through spending time with our dear lolos and lolas in the San Lorenzo Ruiz Home for the Elderly. You can spend your time here helping the elderly eat, accompanying them as they stroll in the garden, or even by just taking the time to visit them. You don’t need a lot of money to make them happy, your mere presence brings them joy!

Environment Protection – Haribon Foundation for the Conservation of Natural Resources Inc.
