The newest single of 6cyclemind, “Nandiyan Pa Ba?”, brings together award-winning artists as it features the collaboration of the band with Bayang Barrios, Gloc-9, and Josh Villena of Autotelic! It is truly a powerful ensemble to a song with a heartfelt message.
The song tells us to pause and truly see what we have done to our home. It challenges us to bring back our earth to what it once was–beautiful, pure, and full of life to listen to the “huni ng ibon sa labas ng hawla, agos ng ilog, sipol ng hangin”.
Intentionally, 6cyclemind included their kids in singing these exact parts of the song to give more emphasis to who the song is for–our children. It sings of hope for a better world for the future generation.
Gloc-9, with his strong rap lines, shares simple yet happy childhood experiences and how this should inspire us to regain this for humanity–that it is not too late and that it can be done.
