Say hello to NYX—a new concept under The Vikings Group which opened this February at One Ayala in Makati. NYX isn’t your typical buffet. Upon entering, you are immediately welcomed by luxe interiors, with elegantly designed stations and seating. This also isn’t your typical “line-up-and-wait” buffet. Don’t feel like carrying your plate across the restaurant’s nearly 2,000-square-meter floor space? Just place your order with one of the waiters, tell them your table number, and wait for the food to be delivered to you.
Touch screen menus are available at every station, as well as QR codes at every table to conveniently view the menu from your seat. All in all, dining at NYX was truly an enjoyable experience that, honestly, felt like a (well-curated) dinner party.
But, of course, the true star of the show was the food. Different stations offer different cuisines from around the globe, from Asia to Europe. A carving station is ready to satisfy the tastes of meat lovers, while those with a sweet-tooth will love NYX’s amazing dessert station. (We’re still dreaming about the ice cream and gelato bar!)
