It’s our mutya’s world, and we’re all simply living in it. Following the resounding success of her back-to-back projects, breakout actress Ashtine Olviga will light up our screens again this month in what might be her most challenging endeavor yet.
We fell in love with Ashtine as Jasper Jean “Jay-jay” Mariano in seasons one and two of Ang Mutya ng Section E—a dynamic match to Andres Muhlach as Keifer Watson. And in Minamahal: 100 Bulaklak Para Kay Luna, the onscreen pair’s first film together, we got to appreciate Ashtine’s depth and versatility through her portrayal of the titular character. Last year, she also emerged as an artist to watch at the 51st Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) for her commendable performance in Manila’s Finest.

Now, Ashtine is taking on not one, not two, but four new roles in her very own drama anthology on Viva One. The series, titled Viva One Originals: ASHTINE, is set to release new episodes weekly, highlighting Ashtine’s artistic growth across a diverse range of genres.

Portraying four distinct characters in one series is no easy feat. But knowing Ashtine’s undeniable acting prowess and dedication to her craft, it’s safe to say that she’ll give fans and viewers a performance worth watching throughout the month.

We can’t wait to laugh like there’s no tomorrow in RC delos Reyes’s Who’s the Boss? The light-hearted, Freaky Friday-esque comedy follows Ashtine’s character as a personal assistant to a fierce Chief Executive Officer (CEO), played by entertainment icon Rufa Mae Quinto.
As the two swap bodies, pick up on each other’s mannerisms, and adjust to their respective day-to-day lives, viewers can gain new perspectives on empathy and self-improvement in the workplace.

My Melody, directed by Fifth Solomon, is a sweet and sentimental love story that’ll surely tug at our heartstrings. Sparks fly on and off the big stage when Ashtine, who plays an unapologetic Korean pop (K-pop) fangirl, gets the opportunity to work with her long-time idol, the charismatic singer-songwriter Chanwoo (Lee Dae-won).
This kilig-inducing episode of Viva One Originals also stars Rob Deniel and features original music by the singer-songwriter.
Balik-eskwela (Premiering on March 27, 2026)
Balik-eskwela marks Ashtine’s acting debut in the horror genre. She’ll headline a spine-chilling campus fright fest that draws inspiration from a viral video by Book of Bad Ideas on TikTok.
Marco Gumabao and Sara Joe will join Ashtine in thrilling scenes that are bound to give you goosebumps and make you face your fears.
Bahay-bahayan (Premiering on April 4, 2026)
Closing off Ashtine’s Viva One Originals anthology is Bahay-bahayan, a powerful and driven drama that also stars Claudine Barretto.
